So Urvin, can you introduce yourself to our readers?
Hey guys, I’m Urvin Borg, an tattoo artist and illustrator from that small place called Holland. I do tattoos for about a year of 7 now and when I’m not busy with that, I also like to make some time to do some illustrating work and make paintings etc. If you want to look at my work, just check insta @urvinator
What is your motivation?
For tattooing? Uhm, I would say that being an artist brings so much joy. Every tattoo is different and every client has a different story behind their tattoo. I always say, every tattoo you do is like your businesscard! Every client that walks out the door, must be 100% satisfied with the result. When the client is happy, I’m happy, and its nice to see how much people can appreciate your work.
My motivation or maybe more inspiration for my paintings comes from everything around me. that can go from being inspired by work from others to just the stuff I have to deal with in my life. The earth without art is just eh, right?
How did you came in contact with Qubo Worldwide?
A few guys from the Qubo crew came in to my shop, made appointments and I tattooed them ever since.
I stayed in contact with the guys through my work and one day we started setting up a collab.
What was the inspiration for the collab t-shirt?
Ofcourse the t-shirt had to represent something of the tattoo scene. We wanted to make something that fits in with the rest of Qubo Worldwide, but also showcased something with tattoos.
I always were a big fan of the traditional style of tattooing, so this design came naturally. It had to be big and bold, and after a while we settled on this dope female head with some fat Qubo lettering. I hope you guys like it!
Do you see more collaborations with Qubo Worldwide?
Yeah, absolutely! I loved working for Qubo and there is definitly more coming for you guys!
